How do I buy a Parent & Baby ticket / ticket for..?
It is mandatory for babies to have a ticket to all screenings, performances and sessions where Babes-in-arms are allowed. For Campus West events babes-in-arms tickets are free (some private productions may charge) and can be obtained online or from the Café & Bar till points.
Parent & Baby screenings always have two ticket types - a Carer and a Baby - which must be ordered together in the same booking to get the babes-in-arms complimentary ticket.
To order a babes-in-arms ticket online for Parent & Baby screenings, please follow these steps:
- On the seating plan select 2 seats
- Go to Your Tickets sidebar on the right of the seating plan
- Change the first ticket type seat to Carer
- Change the second Ticket type seat to Baby (free with carer ticket)
- Click the Add & Proceed button, which takes you to the Order basket page
Please note, tickets for the carer must be processed in the same transaction as the ticket for the baby, otherwise the baby’s ticket will be displayed as full price.
I don't have a baby but want to come a parent and baby screening. Is that OK?
That's fine, but you must still order a second ticket - which is free - for the system to accept the booking. We have set up a rule for online purchases for parents/guardians to ensure a baby ticket is issued at the time of booking. It won't be a problem if, on arrival, you do not have a baby.
How do I book a wheelchair space/ticket online?
At Campus West screens 1, 2, 3 and in Roller City the wheelchair patron only pays for 1 seat/ticket while the companion goes in free.
In Screen 1, the designated wheelchair user seats A1 & A2 are accessed from the ground floor. In screen 2, A11 and A12 are the designated wheelchair seats and also accessible from the ground floor. Screen 3/Theatre is accessible from the first floor through a DDA compliant lift. There are 3 wheelchairs spaces and companion seats located in seats Q17 / Q18, Q20 / Q21 and Q23 / Q24.
Booking a pair of wheelchair space and companion seat involves using the wheelchair user ticket type to select both seats in the designated area of the seating plan.
Customers who use a wheelchair do not need to provide proof of Registered Disabled status. A complimentary ticket will be automatically issued to a wheelchair user with a companion when buying tickets in person.
To purchase tickets online, wheelchair patrons will need to complete the registration form. This is a simple, one-off registration for ease of ticket purchases in the future.
Here is a simple guide on booking wheelchair tickets online.
N.B. both ticket types must be wheelchair user or you will be charged the full price for both tickets.
Can I collect tickets booked online before the start of an event?
Yes. You can collect tickets booked online at any time before the start of an event.
When your online booking is successful, you will receive a confirmation eTicket email. If you have a printer, you can print this confirmation email and show it at the entrance of the event. If you don’t have a printer and you still prefer to have the paper ticket, not to worry, just check your confirmation email for the 10-digit Unique Ticket Collection Number written in red and bold letters (please note this is not your order number or the number on your emailed payment e-receipt). Make a note of this 10-digit number, go to the self-service Tickets Collection Machine at the entrance of our Box Office Foyer, enter the number on the screen and tap the check button to print your tickets.
However, if you have a smartphone and don’t want to print your ticket, you will be admitted to the event you bought tickets for by simply showing your confirmation email on your phone at the entrance of screens 1, 2 or 3.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Yes, we will exchange tickets for different screenings, performances, events or sessions but only on a like-for-like basis. So, for instance, we will exchange film tickets for film tickets. If there is a price difference, this will either be refunded or added on for payment – but please bear in mind also that there is a £2 Administration fee (per transaction) for Exchanges.
If though you wish to change your seat within a screening/performance (that you have already paid for and there are seats available) you can do so without any charge. This is different from moving to another screening/performance which incurs a £2 administration charge.

Why can't I use my complimentary ticket or get any discount when I am a Zebra Discount member?
Sometimes some films are advertised as No Discount or VIP, No Free Tickets or Free List Suspended. What this means is that no free tickets as directed by the film distributors can be used for the film. The restriction is usually in the first 2 weeks of a major new release. During this short period of time, free or complimentary tickets and vouchers are rendered invalid.
Wheelchair companion tickets are not affected by this restriction and are still free.
What is the babes-in-arms policy?
We allow babes-in-arms (children aged 12 months or under) in most events except otherwise stated.
For all screenings where babes-in-arms are allowed, it is mandatory that a complimentary ticket must be obtained from one of the Café & Bar till points.
To keep distractions to a minimum during events, we ask that you take the baby outside if continually crying.
Babes-in-arms are allowed into the screening of any films that start on or before 1.00pm. However compliance with BBFC rules overrides any arrangement or decision on who is allowed to see a film screening.
Do you offer any concessions on tickets?
We offer concession tickets to children, students and senior citizens.
By concession we refer to a discounted ticket price offered to a child, student or senior on some performances and cinema screenings. This is usually labelled 'Senior/Student/Child'.
For the purposes of its use and eligibility, we regard a 17 year old and under as a child, a student as a customer with a valid NUS Card or local college ID and a senior as 60 years and over.
Please be aware when when presenting your concession ticket for checks by our front of house staff at the cinema or theatre entrance you may be required to provide evidence such as a student ID, a senior card or bus pass.
How long are your trailers and ads?
There are usually trailers and ads before a film screening. These can be at least 15 minutes long. But this may vary from film to film. However for Live on Screen cinema there are no ads or trailers.
Why can't I book tickets for films showing more than a week in advance?
We programme and update our film schedules on a week by week basis every Tuesday, which means new films go on sale on Tuesday and run through to Thursday.
Generally, most programmes are decided on a weekly basis, however some major releases can be programmed in advance and tickets can be ordered a few weeks before their first screenings.
The best way to get information about our upcoming films and events is to join our weekly mailing list. Log in to your online account here, In the Personal Details section, select Data Protection and tick the Yes box to Contact Me and Receive Emails.
